I am with Mad Duc. I use Power Service, and Marvel oil. 16 oz each in the tank before fillup. Maybe I don't need it, but a little Insurence for the long run. MPG is up over before I used the additives. I have 35600 mi. I do most in town driving. But on the road, I ride like on a cloud, smooooth as silk. javahjoeo from Kokomo

I am another believer in the PS / MM oil mix, it runs quieter, stronger and I get better fuel mileage.

You could go a little heavier on the MM oil ...kind of trial and error on what runs best in your truck but I use at least 16 oz of PS to 10-12 oz MM oil.

I have used it so often I don't even measure any more.

PS gray and MM oil

have 18,200 miles on my truck and have put PS Grey and MM oil in for the first time. drove about 25 miles and it seems as tho the truck is running better already. is this possible that i would notice the impovement already?

i put 16 oz PS grey and 4 oz of MM oil in to about 32 gallons of diesel.

just wondering if the truck could be running better already or is this just my imagination?

thanks,
david

I'm running 16oz of PS mixed with 8oz of TCW-3. I have used MMO in the mix but prefer TCW-3 since it's a little heavier lubricant and still burns clean.

I use 16 oz's of Power Service and 16 oz's Marvel Oil, added just before fill up. Works for me. Your truck may be different. javahjoeo from Kokomo

Smile

Question? I see the benefits of using the Power Service, thats clear to me. All thou, were does the MMO come in to play. What does the MMO add to the mix that the PS doesen't. They seem to do the same thing (only based on info from manufacture) anyway. How long has this "brew" been in use by the diesel owners? Just wondering about long term useage (50-100k) of the two mixed together and there effects on the Cummins engine.

I ask all this because a have a new 06' 3500 4x4 CTD on order and @ 40K I want to get her started on the correct foot (or wheel).

Thanks, Troy

They seem to be very similar, which one to get?
The white bottle has anti-gel, that's the difference. Is the temp below freezing where you live?
