Somebody PLEASE!!!! Tell me where I can get a shift cable for my 06 3500. Using a pair of vice grips at the moment and I drive, in town, 150-300 miles a day. Hard to find a scrap truck over the Web that is willing to ship it and all Chrysler and Mopar websites have it on national backorder. Only other way to fix it immediately is to buy an 1,800 dollar column from dodge for a 70 dollar part. Would love some help. By the way the tranny is an auto 48re.

 

Have you tried any local transmission shops?

 

Yea, and they tried to help by finding a different cable from some other truck but, in the end, I'm still using pliers
