Carefull how much you grease the tie rod ends. Over greasing can be worse than not greasing at all, if you breake the seal of the boot then water and dirt can get in. You should only give them a small squirt about every 12000mi or so as needed.

Amen X2!!!!!! Nobody cares for your truck as much as you do. We used to own a Dodge Stratus and the sway bar end links dried out and made noises in the front end. The local dealership wanted $400 to replace them. I took the car home and looked at them myself, no slop,wear????.. I took them off and drilled and installed grease zerks, problem solved!!.
