SAITINS DIeSiL... NeED SOmE HeLP

The truck is a 05 with a 03 long block, but still uses the 05 ECM and injectors (I know it needs 03/04 tips to match the bowl, the new tips are on the way). What happens is it keeps blowing the tops off of the solenoids and then the injector bypasses not letting it start. I have replaced 5 injectors so far in the order #1,2,3,4,5 then just a while ago it blew #2 again. Once I replace the broken injector it starts up and runs, smoking white, running about 5-6000psi idling, then dies and will not restart, still making 5-6000psi while it is trying to start. As I am cranking the engine to try and get it to restart, it blows the cap on the injector. It has done this 5 times. There are no boxes on the truck at all.

All help is appreciated guys!

I wonder if the 05 ecm is applying to much pressure to the 03 injectors? Not to mention the 04.5 and up added an injection event so again the 05 ecm could be screwing the 03 injectors.

not sure but thats my first guess.

The only difference is the spray pattern to match the piston bowl as far as injectors go.

Good ole bio-fuel....

There is a check valve made into the bajo bolt on the back of the head on a CR, and it was clogged with crap from running dirty fuel, therfore not letting the injectors bypass, and blowing the solinoids.

Thank you very much Loyd Mills for the help! You were right man.:woohoo:

So hopefully this thread will help someone out that could ever have this problem, it was a strange one.
