Been some posts in the past about it. Here is one.

Sounds like the reoccuring theme is that it doesnt have the lubrication that is needed but it does sound like there are people who have gotten around it. Also sounds like there are diff kinds of jet fuel. I wouldnt try it myself but with your fuel prices it sounds like the research could pay off.

With an avatar of Mussolini, I assume he is not from Britain but I like it (reminds me of my dear old dad).

That is about the right price in Europe. I was in Germany last month and it was running about $7.40 a gallon and Diesel was the cheapest fuel there. Regular gas wias about 15 to 20 cents a liter, not gallon, higher. It was runnning about 1.30 Euro a liter. Most of that is tax. It would be about $250 to fill up my turck there.

I have run 5 gal of JP5 in a 1/4 tank, not brave enough to do any more... It's just so dry, I do not think that the CP3 would like it. Maybe on a P-pump, but not a CP3.

I can get it for free, I'm just too scared to run it 100%. I'm about to get a bunch of it and pour a few gallons of 2 stroke in it.

Fuel's 3.50 here.

Moving from Sweden to US to live with my relatives, and man.. I can live in the car for the same amount of money I pay here. It's common to see people paying about $1000 per month in just gas. The Gas and Diesel prices here will be raised with almost a dollar per gallon after new years, and today the Diesel is $9 per gallon, and here the diesel is cheaper then Gas! You can pay over $10 per gallon for Shell 93 octane.. I feel really bad for the hemi drivers.. And the fueling stations takes about $3, rest is tax. Sorry 4 OT but thought it could be fun to know how lucky you guys are! :-)

If you are in Iceland I would be hesitant to put vegetable oil in as it may freeze up. Jet fuel less than Diesel, amazing! I personally would not use Jet fuel in my truck. The lubrication issue being my #1 concern.
