RPMs bottoming out...Help!
I've been having a problem for about 3 weeks now and it's progressively getting worse. Every so often the engine RPMs will bottom out to almost stall then jump back up to about 1500. Doesn't matter if idling or driving (although while I'm driving the change isn't as drastic but it does hesitate and jump). I've had it in to the dealer a couple times now and finally got them to see it happen. However, no codes showed up even when the reader was hooked up at the time it happened. They are going to try the electronic fuel actuator but aren't sure if that's the problem. Has anybody ever had this problem? Does the repair sound correct?

My '03 did that and it turned out to be the fuel return control valve on the CP3. This is after they changed injectors and lift pump; Star was unable to diagnose so I told service manager about return valve. They changed out the CP3 and problem was gone.
