Rough idle and white smoke at start-up.....

I know this has been hashed around before. Mine has just started doing it, at times.

Last weekend, the truck had sat for a week, and when I fored it up, it ran the roughest it has ever, and smoked too. I sat there, letting it warm some, even ran the RPM's up and down some, and when it got back to idle, it was still rough.

Then, I put it in gear and pulled the truck forward about 20 feet. Back in park, and it was smooth as ever!

So, could this be in the computer somehow? What could my just pulling forward a few feet have to do with the idle smoothing out, since I had been reving it up some before?

I'm still under warranty, so I'm gonna take it in. Is there any TSB's specific on this?

Thanks

There is a white smoke reflash for the '06. I'm not sure about the '05. Insist they check out your injectors too just to be safe. I had them check mine for the same issue and had to have two replaced.

could be you lost your prime, and got air in the fuel system, next time it does this shut it down prime the fuel system and then restart.
