Ok guys, here goes, I am having a rough idle at times and Intermittent Knock while driving down the road. Rail Pressure has been dropping below 5000 PSI while at idle, running around the 3000 Psi mark at times. I am not having the knock all the time, just some times. Its like it clears out every now and then and sounds fine. Could I be getting water trapped on the Injectors and doing this till is passes? Or is an Injector sticking open or closed? Changed the Fuel Filter a couple of times and no water is showing in the bottom of the filter canister. When the idle is rough, it has a strong fuel smell, could it be the FCA? There is no fuel in the oil also. Looking for suggestions guys..

i had the same problem earlier this weekend and it ended up needing 5 injectors . good luck

 

I gave it a good dose of Sea Foam and Power Service along with some 2 stroke oil and it looked like it cleared up for the most part. Gonna change out the filter tomorrow and hit it again and see how things go. I sure hope not on the injectors, they only have about 40,000 miles on them. When i changed them out, the first set didn't make it a full 7 days and had to be sent back and waited on for another 6 weeks. This set has done better.
