Revision to Lift pump Warranty Denied

The begining.

04 2500 93xxx miles live in Texas broke down in middle Missouri towed to dealer they could not figure out warranty in computer when replacing lift pump. they ordered it and replaced it with in-tank pump the standard replacement. i opened a claim with dodge got number and all. paid for work done and headed home, filed paper work for reimbursement and dodge says that that lift pump # is not a warranty part for an 04 2500

Update i submitted addtional warranty info right from the 2004 warranty handbook i got with Truck. They still denied my warranty claim No Explanation given.

So now i will go after them for Deceptive Trade Paractices, Not honoring a written warranty. I have obtained legal counsel, Who will go after them for more $$ than what i sought. Texas is a great state to live in..

I had a 1995 1500 gasser once. When the dash cracked (truck still under warranty). They denied me a dash under warranty.. Seems thay can deny warranty for any or no reason & no explanation. If the Cummins would have come in a GM. I would have bought G.M. for this reason

You can go to TX.gov and make a complaint about it. I don't know jest what part it is but when you get in to it you can find it easy. GOOD LUCK

With hourly legal fees at about the price of a new lift pump ($225/hr where I live) Chrysler figures you won't bother going after them.

Really bites. I really wonder if the difference is in the dealer.
