replacing injectors

getting ready to replace a couple injectors myself.tired of paying dodge and cummins.never done it before.replaced lift pump and thought it would take care of hard start problem.but not so lucky.still have to pull fuel filter to get it to start sometimes.any info you guys could give would great.bought a manual and it says not to do it yourself but money is tight.and i found a place in st louis that rebuilds inj. for cummins.i can get them for 208.00 with a core so im going to give it a shot.

just make sure they know what they are talking about. i took my injectors into a pump and injector place here where i live, and i told them what truck, what year, and said common rail, they told me no problem, we can do them, blah, blah ,blah, anyway, i get a call about 4 hrs later telling me, that these are common rail injectors and they need high psi to test them, and they don't have the machine to do it, so they can't help me. just like i told them everything the day before, so i wasted my time, and 1.5 hrs of driving.
