Far as I know Pennzoil isn't synthetic. I'm running it at the moment and seems to be good, but next time I'm going to try Redline MTL.

The Pennz is Dino. Seems to be alright but it is Pennz and Redline is synthetic. I'm currently running RP but will change to Redline MTL on my next change as Redline looks to have better shear and other attributes. I contacted RP and asked about support IF something happened and RP responded that they would stand behind their product. Did not contact Redline as RP was a locally available product and for Redline I would have had to go to the next town.

Red Line MTL

The other day I received an e-mail from Red Line Oil Co. regarding their MTL & C+ATF trans fluid. They replied with:
"Thank you for contacting Red Line Oil, the MTL meets the MS9224 spec. It is well suited and will perform well in the NV-5600 transmission. The C+ATF will meet and exceed the MS9602 spec and is suitable for use where the ATF+4 fluid is called for.
Regards, Dave
Red Line Oil"

This is Dave's e-mail address: Dave@RedLineOil.com

Hope this helps.

Redline MTL is great. Night and Day difference in the Nv5600 for shifting.
And Redline also meets spec for the nv5600.
