Red Line D4 ATF

Can someone tell me, is the Red Line Synthetic D4 ATF at least the same, or comparable to the required ATF+4 according to my owners manual? In other words, will it meet the scrutiny of the dealership if I have a warranty issue?

Thanks,

TXPOWER

Not to get into the debate about using fluids OTHER than the DC fluid in the Auto transmission - there's enough of those messages out there... NO Redline D4 is NOT the correct product.

Redline C+ is... Its what I used & you can do a search & see my comments on that.

I'm sure it works well as does Amsoil's tranny fluid but if it's not API approved ATF+4 as recognized by DC, it's grounds for warranty denial if you have tranny failure. I'll wait until DC turns loose of the rights of others to manufacture ATF+4 like they did with ATF+3. That took a while too. Until then, I can get ATF+4 in gallon jugs at the dealership for $16.50 each.
