05' 3500 needs a new rear carrier. I am looking at Yukon Duragrip due to cost savings but I had a similar style and it has blown after many miles. i don't know how many of it it was running as an open diff. I got an offroad shop that I am buddies with the owner offering $600 for the Yukon. The problem is it requires maintenance and has clutch packs which ai don't like but I like the price. Especially if I am not going to keep it long enough to justify a $1000+ for a Detroit. Does anyone know any other gear style lockers for less than a Detroit?
