DaimlerChrysler is recalling 1,498 MY 2007 2-wheel drive Dodge Ram pickup trucks equipped with manual transmissions. The front driveshaft yoke may break under certain driving conditions. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and cause a crash without warning. Dealers will replace the driveshaft. The recall is expected to begin during October 2007.

Can you give us a site to ck and see if our vehicle is affected??? DO they have manufacturing date ranges or anything??? We're already past Oct 2007.

 

Maybe I don't understand something, but a recall to replace front driveshafts on 2 WD trucks????? 2WD trucks don't have front driveshafts.........

Hopefully, someone will clarify for me.

At the above link, you can enter the last 8 digits of your VIN number to see if there are any recalls on your particular truck.

 

The Duellys have a 2 piece driveshaft and I assume he is talking about the front section as the front driveshaft.

I have a manual looked at the website and put vin in no recall for driveshaft but I have a 4 wheel drive.
