Radiator Overflow hose loose

Hi all,

I was changing my air filter today and when taking off the cover I hit the radiator overflow hose and knocked it off. This is the hose that goes to the top of the radiator right by the cap. I put it back on but think that it should be more of a Snug fit. It goes on loose and can be taken off way too easy. Should I be concerned about this?

Thanks,
Barry

Everybody usually puts a small hose clamp on it but don't over tighten it because it's only plastic & if your still running the factory air filter, it's easier to take the hose off & on to change the filter.

A thin wire tie works well too.

That loose hose also causes leakage on recovery processes too.

Cut about a half inch off the end. Stay tight clamp it, and away you go.

Wire ties work well and are easy to change!

Hey all, am new here, last evening was looking through Google for forums to assist with my AC woes, happened acroff this site...was impressed, so here I am :-)

JB, happened to see a same issue with mine today by accident. Had cut the hose and re-attached which was a snug fit. I agree with the others above as I will zip-tie in the am.
Best to you!
