PTO on transfer case

PTO on transfer case
Has anyone ever used the PTO hook up on there transfer case for anything?
The aftermarket has most anything imaginable available for trucks, but I caint remember anything for a PTO since the old military jeeps that had winches running off there.
With cost cutting being taken to the extent is has by OEM's why would they still have a PTO hook up available???

Somebody else chime in here, but I believe that the transfer case PTO is not available on 3rd gen trucks. There is a PTO on my 6-speed, but not on the transfer case.
I have seen remote bucket trucks on Dodge chassis that use the PTO for a hydraulic pump.

There is no PTO on the T-case. The NV5600 is setup for a PTO (Cover plate on the side of the housing), but the ECM does not have it enabled from the factory. It was planned, but the clutch switch used for making sure the clutch pedal is pushed in does not actually send a message across the bus, therefore it was possible to launch the vehicle with the idle speed elevated. DCX saftey dept axed it. As stated above, it cost too much to add a position sensitive switch to the shifter to insure that the trans was in neutral.
