Problem shifting again... Flaring
Ok... I have gone through this before... Except under warranty... My truck is flaring again and I think I am either going to trade it in for a new truck or buy a new built tranny....
I tow a trailer 95% of the time about 30-40K miles a year... The trailer is about 5K lbs 6X10 tandem cargo trailer that is level and balanced... I know it doesn't weigh that much but this is the second time I am having this problem... If I get a new tranny I don't want to spend $4000+ for parts and labor... I would like to stay under $3k if possible >>>
So... What are my options?? Ebay Special? Or what?
New Truck with another stock tranny?

Well.... I don't think it is going to last the week... I have been calling around getting quote for a new tranny and it looks like I am going to need something immediately... I'll be damned if the dealer is going to get another $ from me... It only lasted 26k miles! I didn't even get to the 1st service interval... It only lasted 11 months and DC said they would assist with the cost of replacement.. Those sorry S O >>> I guess I am going to have to get it done by a local builder and have him get quality parts.
I looked a new trucks but I just couldn't justify it ... . I tried.... But it just won't work
