popping sound in front

I have a popping sound under the floor board you can feel with your feet. It's not all the time just sometimes when you hit a bump and maybe turning. Seams like more on the passenger side. Any help?

Lose your bumpstop? Look behind the tire on the a-arm.

It's your U-joints .... my '03 did it alot before I did the 90k maintenance, and was really loud when turning. It's just time to get a little work done.

Check the tie rods and ball joints for play, then check the trac bar bushings for play. Next check the swaybar bushings at the frame.

I had noticed a very prominent knock in the floorboard of my truck after removing the track bar to install spring spacers. While the trackbar was out I also replaced the bushings in it with some NAPA parts for around $15 and re-installed. Started noticing the pop almost right away. Wasn't all the time but sometimes when I would turn a corner and/or hit a bump at the same time. Finally crawled under it 2 days ago and could have almost kicked my own tail-end...I was able to tighten both trackbar nuts/bolts almost 3 full revolutions . That extra bit seemed to firm up my steering a little and the pop is gone.

I agree with jhenson. Sounds like a body mount noise. Also if you have running boards that bolt up through the body mount check to make sure they arenot contacting the frame. Good luck.
