P2121 APPS Conformance Error

I could not find the other one... Have you inspected your throttle cable and linkage? There is a black plastic cover that is infront of the intake horn, 2 plastic phillips screws hold it on. I don't think that's what it is if you're throwing codes, tho...

Here's the other one...

P2123 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch D Circuit High Input

TPS is taking a dump then.

I did not think that the 04.5's had TPS's...

I think that I saw one for sale in the classifieds...

Dont buy a TPS just yet...

It might save you some money if you pull the battery cables off, disconnect all the ECM, PCM cable connectors and spray real good with contact cleaner. Then reattach everything, battery cables last and try it out.
Mine had a similiar problem early on and I did exactly that...and it fixed the problems, AFTER I SPENT 300$ ON A TPS I DIDNT REALLY NEED.

Just a thought, give it a try, the price is right.

sorry bud but, your apps is under the drivers side battery tray it does not have the pedal assembly like the 05.5-up.

03-04 (apps on front of engine)
04.5-05 (apps is under the drv side battery tray)
05.5-up (are the pedal assembly in cab)

My 03 has the apps under the battery, so if you can't find it look in all locations!

My son baught one recently for his 06. I think it was $125. Much cheaper than the cable operated throttle.

Mine is on the motor right in front of the intake airhorn. That is what you will need.

vciesielski, on the 04.5 the location can be any one of three, in transition they cleared the old parts off the shelf as they headed to new stuff, so under the battery, at the peddle, or top drivers side of valve cover is where you can find it. part of the reason it is so expensive to develop mods for the motors, so many variables ya gotta have em all covered and tested.

Edit : Benny, whre ya at in Pasadena? I lived there for two years and was down two weeks ago for a paryt, down off mountain road, North shore community, Eagle Hill road.

I had a truck with same problem I replaced the APP sensor and did not fix it. Found ECM was the problem, replaced and program ECM and have not had problem since. I did check all the wiring from ECM to the APP and everything did check OK. Use ohm meter and check resistance and grounds. If you need wiring diag and procedure let me know. Good Luck
