i raed some where in here that a good performance box will help a truck from being so hesistant. my 03 has no passing gear when doing 110km (80 miles i think). in town i have to floor her to get her a passing gear. tranny is best its been. rebuilt twice. any suggestions?

 

At 80 MPH the transmission will not shift down because it's already at redline for 3rd gear.

 

You need a gear splitter o/d unit if you want a passing gear at 80.In the $4k range ought to get you a higher speed passing gear.

 

thanks. what about in town? really have to stomp on her. i have 3500 with 250 low output. thats probably the prob, eh?
