If you want a good product, call Harvey at Redhead steering gear.

He won't send you in a wrong direction, and can give you a lot of good info on the better brands of steering pumps.

As far as steering gears go, he is the man as well.

I just put one on last weekend.

Napa part # 81-819
Reman pump $51.29
(Company discount)

It's listed as a pump for a Hemi but it's the same pump for the Cummins. Have fun, I know I did. It makes it a lot easier if you remove the left wheel well liner.

I had a remanufactured pump from Rockauto send to me 2 months ago because the ooriginal pump was leaking and making noise ,a few days ago I had no P/S again,so I thought after 90K that it was probably the steering box (it could not be the pump ,cause I changed it 2 months ago)
So I ordered a steering box from Redhead ( Harvey ) after install, still no powersteering !!!
We took the P/S pump appart to see if we could find anything, and yes there was a O ring snapped ,now that we had the pump appart we could see that the remanufactured pump was nothing more than a refurbished/repainted pump with old parts inside ,it was also not as powerfull as the old pump that was original on the truck ,the Rockauto pump could not turn the wheels when the truck wasn,t moving ,unless the original one had no problems doing that .
I decided this was the last time I ever bought things like that remanufactured ,so I ordered a new one at Dodge .
