I've read the other posts on p2609 already although I am new to this forum I'm not new to dodge diesels. Threw my chevy diesel away and stuck in a 12 valve. This is my fourth dodge diesel now and won't own anything else.
Went through from battery to relays through the heaters, replaced the gaskets with conductive gaskets on grid heater. Pulled the passenger in ER fender well checking the wires. I have two top quality Decca battery's. So juice is not an issue.
I've read about possible corrupted files and a re flash might help?
#1 I have 4 volts constant from computer to relays
#2 I have constant ground to the relays
#3 p2609 code won't clear
? The relays click and do their Job as intended but could a weak internal connection within the relay be causing me to pull out what little hair I have left?

I have no check engine light! I have no codes at all!
I do have a pending p2609 code and can't pass smog here on the left coast!!!
New injectors, new turbo, new FCA, new fuel rail complete from origin diesel.
My truck runs like new!! I'm suposed to hook up my boat for a fishing trip Dow. The BAJA in a week and can't get the tags for my truck!

 

Up date! I picked up another heater grid, relays, fused wires from battery. Pending code still there! I took a chance and had it smoked anyway. Smog didnt pick up the code this time so I kicked the can down the road!!!
The plus side is I'm getting my tags and going fishing!
