What is it and whats the fix. Haven't driven it for a month. Thanks

P0514--Battery Temperature Sensor Performance/Rationality


It is a common code that most of us get at one time or another. It seems to have something to do with using the block heater and creating different temps between the 2 batteries or something like that.

I wouldn't worry about it all. It will go away by itself or you can have it cleared.

If you don't wnat it to keep showing up, take it to the dealer. There's a TSB that they will flash your computer with and it goes away. Good luck.

Mine has come back last week and now this week like a vengence.

Last time before it was on, was probably 2 years lol.
