P0700 code ????

P0700 code ????
I have a 2003 Dodge 2500 series with a Cummins and it has been running fine. I checked the codes yesterday by switching the key on and off 3 times and it threw a P0700 code (Transmission control system) and I was wondering if anyone might know what this code represents? The truck runs great and the check engine light has not come on so I have no idea how long this code has been there. Thanks.
