P0341 Code-camshaft position sensor??

For the last month or so, I've noticed want I feel, was an engine miss when the engine is cold. No codes. After it's up to operating temp, it ran fine. Early last week, I was at Walmart at Hartwell, GA. Started the truck, exhaust brake was on since I used it coming across from I-85. Engine temp was above 175 and it should not have come on. Turned it off and left headed back to Fair Play, GA.
Left a stop light, felt a stumple and got a code. P0336 Crankshaft Pos Sensor.
Cleared the code, it did not come back. Truck ran fine.
This past Friday while leaving Cleveland Ga, again cold engine, got a stumple and the CPS Code. Cleared it twice and it came back each time. Drove it back to the Camp Ground, with engine light on, engine ran fine.
Strange thing, the exhaust brake did not work while driving back. Indicator light was on meaning the brake was on.
Next morning, I cleared the code and the exhaust brake worked.
Anyone know how the CPS affects the exhaust brake?
Another funny thing, after I installed the exhaust brake on my 2000 dodge
the CPS failed 10,000 miles after installation. I just had the EB installed last July. Engine has about 8000 miles on it since the EB was installed.
Is this just a freak or is there a relationship between the two?
Anyone else had this happen?
Thanks in Advance.
