By the time i got to the garage today, the light had gone out......the fuse was in fact good.....the turbo solinoid was connected properly and had not been disturbed.......the only thing i found was i had forgotten to connect the fog lights......since the mil was out, not sure what the cause was......will keep an eye on it.......

Well since i posted last message, the codes have returned twice since this last posting.......has anyone heard of this problem as a result of installing the block heater power cord? Could this be a software problem that an upgrade will solve?

block heater has nothing to do with any circuit in the system. its a stand alone system. you may have left something unplugged during the installation of the power cord but it isn't the block heater at all.
p0243
Case Number K46965697
Vehicle Issue MIL. P0243. Low power.;No other fault codes are logged. Inspect the Wastegate Control Valve (actuator) wires for chafing against the battery ground cable. The insulation on the wire(s) may have rubbed through allowing the copper to corrode. In some cases the wire may have broken off at the actuator.
System or Component Lack of Power / Sluggish;DTC / Error Message;Turbocharger,Group 18 - Vehicle Performance / Driveability
Recommendation Replace the Wastegate Control Valve.

this is a fan issue here are the possibilities
Possible Causes
(K160) FAN CLUTCH CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN
(K160) FAN CLUTCH CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO THE (K690) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT
