***UPDATE***

Employed a little redneck engineering, from suggestions from a few guys
here on DTR. I gave up on getting the hose, just used cable ties and the buzz is
GONE !! Its like a different truck. I didn't know they were this quiet.

* Strapped both hydraulic lines together in about 6 places.
* Strapped both to the neg battery cable.
* No more buzz @ 2000 RPM,, HUGE REDUCTION in cab noise.
* No more cruise control fluctuation @ 2000 RPM.
* No more buzz through the go pedal.
* No thanks to the DEALER.
* MANY THANKS TO DTR AND YOUR REPLIES....

This is my sixth Dodge pick-up (or thereabouts) and it never ceases to amaze me how delaership service departments take the pleasure out of owning what is otherwise a great vehicle/power package.

The dealership that's about five minutes from me doesn't want to see me anymore and the feeling is mutual. Three trips for a wiring repair, three WEEKS (!) for a turbocharger replacement and on and on. I buy my Dodges form a dealership thats fifve hours away and their service department has done more to help me over the phone than some other places do in person.

A fish rots first fromt he head. Has anyone ever received any type of reply from DC when a complaint is made? Does anything good ever flow from DC down to the consumer post deliver?

I like the Dodge trucks but I am truly thinking of switching brands just to try and get some better warranty service!

Do you really think these problems don't occur with the other OEM's?

I think that's a tad bit nieve.

That's true, all the other manufacturers will have problems to some degree. The difference lies in the manner in which maufacturer's handle the claim. The service from DC is very poor. DC spends as much time, effort and money to avoid service as they would to simply honor the written warranty. Because of this, I will never purchase a new Dodge again.
