Oil Sample Back from Monitor - Please upload yours to compare

Just bought this 06 Mega with 88k on it, all stock. Previous owner used Rotella every 5k, and shell or dealer filters.

Ran an oil sample thur Monitor (genosgarage kit).

Heres the results, what do you think, do i need to get a bypass? Sounds like the engine is running good.

Please post your oil samples, I need something to compare to.

Thanks

Looks great. It should -- being changed every 5000 miles. Lucky to find one that someone took extra good care of. Post it up on
www.bobistheoilguy.com if you want more comments. There are some Triboligists(friction engineers and blenders?) that are members on there. Sounds like you got a good engine. Good Luck

No need to compare that one or even wonder if there is cause for concern....keep doing what the previous owner did, and you'll probably get half a mil.

Thanks for the help. I'm not sure what all the numbers mean, its my first sample. Gonna try Blackstone labs next time for grins.

I normally change my oil at 3k on my 12v due to the 370's.

I'm seriously thinking about a single filter bypass setup from amsoil, this 3rd injection event and reading some injector failures posts really got me thinking.

Gonna swap in a Premium Fleetguard fuel filter soon also. I checked all the other fluids, look great, most just serviced recently, gonna change the tranny fluid though for double deep pan (auto) soon. Adding a steering brace, already added running boards, chrome bug shield, husky liners. Its like XMAS all over lol.

Definately gonna keep this 06 stock, this is the nicest thing I've ever had, and can't afford two trucks that are bombed. heehee.

Heres a picture of her, its sure a gem, family loves all the extra room, the guy really kept good care of her, Its sure alot different that my good ole standard cab 5spd 12v. Wish I could swap motors!!
