Oil Lines...
Question #1: Which way is oil flowing through my turbo, up the black line into bottom side of turbo and out the silver braided hose and into the oil filter or the other way?<br><br>Question #2:<br> Which way does the trans fluid flow, to the cooler<br> in frount of the raidator and back through the small<br> cooler at the back of the block and then back to <br> the trans or the other way?<br><br>Question #3:<br> Is that engine oil lines that connect to the cooler at the back of the engine, the same ones that the transmission lines go to?<br><br>finally got a chance to crawl under my truck and look it over.<br> <br> thanks for replys <br><br>

The silver braided line into the turbo is the high pressure feed, black line out the bottom of the turbo is the return line to the crank case. silver=in, black=out<br>I can't speak to the other two you asked about...

The hot Tranny fluid goes from the tranny to the small heat exchanger at the right rear of the block first, then to the radiator. <br>That line is the best place to monitor tranny temps, it's the hottest fluid in the system.

Commando, sorry bud, but it was Red.<br><br>Shovelhead, Where do you route the wires from a temp. sensor into the cab? Thinking of mointoring my turbo oil temp and trans oil temp.<br>

@$#% ^&%$ *&$% Figures, now they'll probably use it as a replacement on the nose of some poor abused Ram that some knucklehead (no offence Shovelhead) doesn't even care about. It'll go to some guy that really uses his Ram as a.....ram
