Here we go again!

If you search you will have days worth of reading the debates here! However many recommend the Fleetguard Strata pore filter. (that is what I run) Baldwin is also a top filter. The one thing that MOST (but not all) will agree on is DO NOT run a Fram on these engines.
You can buy the Fleetguard filters from Genos Garage here http://www.genosgarage.com/FLEETGUAR.../#.U5E0BSiCdh4 I also run the Fleetguard fuel filters from Genos.

Stick with Wix, Fleetguard, Baldwin, Donaldson. Will never go wrong with any of those.

For the fuel filter use Baldwin PF7977 in the canister. It's the best drop in available.

Is there anything wrong with the stock MOPAR filter? I can get those for about $7, or are the ones listed above "better"?

The Donaldson P558615 is the only filter that isn't better or equal to the OEM filter.

Thanks, which ones are better? Or is everything minus the Donaldson just equal?

The smaller the micron with the higher the rating the better. Donaldson. ELF 7349 is the best, P558615 is the worst.. In that list.

Got it thanks. I wonder what the micron rating on OEM is? I need to make a decision whether to stick to my $7 MOPARs or go with the ELF 7349.

Www.filterspro.com has the ELF7349 at a price that makes it very worthwhile.

If you want to run the standard Fleetguard you may as well buy the Mopar from Walmart, it's a good chance it's the same filter.
