Oil Filter ?'s

I still have 4 brand new fleetguard stratopore filters for my old 2001, 24v. What I am wondering is if I can use these filters on my 03 H.O.??? I just can't seem to find a simple yes/no answer . I know they dont' have the flats on the base to allow a filter wrench but are they different in any other ways such at the bypass valve pressure or flow rate?

And yes, i'm cheap, I'm hoping I can use them since I already have them.

It will fit fine. As you mentioned, the only difference is the flats on the bottom to facilitate removal on the 3rd gens.
