oil filler cap swapped?
While at the dealers for an oil change (freebie) I think they swapped my oil fill cap with another. This one feels different, plus there was crud all over it, so I don't think it is mine. It has a black sticker in the middle covering the words "For Diesel Engines". Part number 3937759. Is this cap safe to use or should I be going to the parts house? I know, I'm a little picky, but I don't want to have a Mt. Vesuvius. Thanks, John

I saw the billet oil filler caps on ebay. They had ones with ram heads & Cummins "C" on them in all different colors. Search "Cummins oil filler caps" and they'll pop up. Bidding started about $13. My question is will they fit right? I haven't heard of anyone with these. I don't plan on being a test subject.
