i noticed this morning when i went out, there was about a softball sized spot of oil on the garage floor, not a puddle, but a solid spot. i looked under the truck, and it had came from the oil blowby tube, i could see where it had hit the front diff & dripped off it... should i be concerned about this or what???

 

mine leak a pretty good amount sometimes...

 

Check your oil level and make sure it doesn't smell like fresh diesel. If both those are OK, you should be fine.

 

make sure you dont have high crank case presure and you are getting oil carry over

 

A few weeks ago while leaving work, I noticed an oil spot under my truck too. I looked underneath and saw exactly what you did, and thought the same thing. HOWEVER, in checking further I was able to track the oil up much higher. So I popped the hood and found the source....The oil was coming out of the top of the oil filter. Checked, and sure enough the filter was loose. I wiped the oil off the filter, hand tightened it, and no further problems. Vibration caused???? The filter had been on there for about 8,000 miles and this was the first time it leaked, so it must have been pretty solid for quite a while.
