oil analysis results

Got my first Blackstone report back. Here are the highlights at 29000 miles (4500 on oil):
Aluminum-4
Iron-13
Molybdenum-33
Potassium-19
Boron-36
Silicon-4
No need to worry about the PG7, although I usually don't drive in dusty areas.
The oil is dealer supplied, free oil changes. I'm assuming Mopar, which would make it Valvoline? Which would explain the potassium i guess.

Every dealer cuts his own deal with a local wholesaler. Don't assume anything. They sell Mopar over the counter, but what is in their bulk tanks that serve the service department is different.

Thats what I was kinda thinking. Gonna poke around next time I'm in there. The techs are usually nice and let me hang around.

My potassium was 17 on my last oil analysis, I use the Delo 400 15w/40.

030303 how about posting the full report ? What you've posted is incomplete and lacking some crucial parameters.

I would also comment that after 4500 miles and a silicon of 4, the PG7 isn't doing such a great job. Not bad, but nothing to write home about.
