BYthe way they CAN LEGALLY STOP YOU just as they Do hundreds of tractor trailer rigs daily for any reason they see fit, simply because Diesel is considered a -SPECIAL FUEL- and is regulated as such.

jwash said it exacty. when I had my '99, I watched the DOT man dip my tank when I was in a restaurant one day for lunch. another thing they can do if the tank is inaccessible is pull a fuel filter. They seem more interested when you have an auxillary tank in the back.
