Noisy throttle pedal in '06

I've heard a rattling sound, like a loose plastic part, for a while. Turns out nothing in the dash was rattling - ths noise was from the throttle itself.

The problem has two parts. One is the noise, but the other is that the throttle seems to activate when it's cold - with no foot pressure at all, the throttle does its noisy thing all by itself, enough to deactivate the exhaust brake warmup feature. But after that, the throttle is noisy every time I let off the pedal.

Anyone else have this problem, or a solution?

Yep, these are not squeaks, they're clicks, like a noisy electronic switch

The automatic idle-up is normal in colder temperatures to help with warmup.

Indeed it is.

Not the issue though, I'm talking about a noisy throttle that seems to activate itself in short bursts in the cold. It will click on just enough to deactivate my exhaust brake, then off, then on/off/on/off in rapid succession.
