My truck smokes pretty good too for not having any fueling mods either.

You may want to check your intercooler hoses. I noticed turck started smoking more than normal and found a good sized leak in the hose going from the turbo to the intercooler. I also gained almost 2mpg by fixing it.
Just a thought.

Wouldn't your truck be running hotter than normal because of this?

Truck was not new, but only had a couple of thousand miles on it when I bought it. Have had it for almost two years and never really smoked before until 3 weeks ago.
Where do you check for leaks? Inlet or outlet side? Or both?

I took it to the dealer right before the bumper to bumper expired. They replaced the front U-joints under warranty.
Did they reflash the computer, 'cuz that's when I noticed it rollin' coal for the first time. It is still running great though. It seems like if I had a leak somewhere it would be overheating and/or running the crap.
