No tailgate lock???
Is it my imagination or did I somewhere see a new Ram with a tailgate keylock lock?
I expected to find one on mine but didn't.
Thanks...

I think it is pretty stupid for dodge not to offer a locking tailgate. Maybe that should be included in the Security package. I for one, would opt. for it. There are many other things that hopefully make it into the next redesign.....Memory seats for one are something I'd like to see as well as the locking tailgate.

hmm thats an interesting thing... where did you find an electric lock for the tail gate at? that would be a nice little "extra" to have.
even though i have a lockable cover for the bed of my truck which makes the tail gate unable to open

I've got a pop-n-lock. I also agree it's stupid Dodge didn't include this, but oh well, it was $35 at the local truck place. No drilling, it snaps in place and has some super-adheasive stuff on it that needed two days to cure. I had them install it when they put the running boards on, they guy showed me how it was done. Really easy.
I considered electric, but seemed more hassle than it was worth.
I'm sure you could bust it off if you tried, but any lock can be defeated.
