No Power

I have a 2005 Ram 2500 5.9ctd and have no power over 2200 rpm. Anyone have any idea as to what I might need to look for? The truck is all stock and never had any aftermarket box's put on it.

when was the filter changed, hows the rail pressure and fuel pressure check those things first. any smoke could be a boost leak
