No more Howling!

Took my truck to another dealer 2 weeks ago, and had a mechanic come for a drive. Said I needed new crown and pinion. Took it in today and they changed them. Have about 150 miles on it so far, and no more howling! (Said they've done 4 or 5 others on the 3d gens. I can't see how that was supposed to be "normal" break in sound.)

You got it! It looks like there are some bad gears out there, and only some people want to work on them.

Well I've had the howling on mine since about the 900 mile range. Took it to the dealer, noooo promblem we'll rebuild it ! they did , 200 miles later it's baaaack! go again, yesir we'll do it again, they did ,0 miles took off guess what yep it's still there onley loader. Ok I told them lets do a replacement on the housing and try that we did it's still there so I bought an XM radio and turned it up ahhhhh no more howling!
