No fuel stabilizer and really cold weather... uh oh!

Where are you getting your Bio from?
If you were running straight #2 Fuel or #1 or winter blend I would recommend getting some Power Service 911 Red bottle.
Have you pulled your filter yet and looked at it this will be the biggest indication if your fuel has jelled.
0 degrees is only -17 Cels, cold but should not have gelled your fuel.
For the rest of you guys who are haveing fuel issues, where are you getting your fuel from? What part of the States are you from, and what are your tempratures?
ULSD due to it being more refined should not be seeing problems with it gelling. Untill extreme temps of -50 degree Cels or below.
I am thinking that maybe your getting the mixture of ULSD and old #2 in your tanks. This could be causing the problems you are seeing.

When my truck had its problem, ambient temp was 14f. It didn't sompletely gell, just enough to wax up the filter. Top speed while waxed was about 45 mph.
Got the neighbors tractor going today too. Had to heat the fuel tank sump, change out the filter, and dump the sediment bowl a few times. Temp yesterday when it went bad, 14f.
Being in Ky, we may not always have the winter fuel. I never asked.

Well, I added some 911 and ran my fuel pump for about a half hour, keeping an eye on my voltage and fuel pressure. Now I'm up to 15psi, so something worked. It should be back up to 20psi once I drive her and charge the batterys. Lesson learned... I'll never be without some type of additive for gelling in cold weather.

Drove to work the other morning, temp was -13 F with only #2 and stanadyne conditioner. Had to drive about 35 miles and no problem! Edit:I also carry a spare fuel filter and a bottle of 911 on board.

When this happened to me I dumped the whole thing in my fuel tank, but nothing! I called my buddy at the service sta. , He came and filled my filter housing up , after draining the fuel out. I got in the truck turned the key on just long enough for the wait to start light to go out , and it fired right up!!

You have removed your filter correct?.
Was there fuel in it, was it waxed, gelled?
I think your bio fuel has waxed up on you and is causing your problem. Or you have lots of water in your tank.

Checked and filter, no ice, gell, or water. Fuel in filter canister was a clean sample. Turns out my fuel pump was going out. Just hadn't checked it till last night since I just assumed it must have been from the cold weather and/or water in the fuel. Considering a Walbro, any input on which brand or model pump to go with over OEM?

I knew it. I would have bet money on it. Every year about this time when it starts getting cold there are threads about lift pumps taking a dump.
Walbro is an excellent choice. So is FASS.
I watch my fuel pressure gauge like a hawk.

My vote goes to Walbro. It's simple, powerful, inexpensive, and reliable. I just bought a spare for $109 on ebay. I recommend the 392. It's overkill, but should last forever in our applications.

I've heard of quite a few guys, mostly newer Ford and Duramax owners (not many Dodges in that corner of the world), having fuel gelling issues. Much more than normal. This is from eastern MT, western ND area when temps dropped to 0 to -10 range. Several of them had it happen after making a trip and the turck was still idling (so it had been running long enough for the heated fuel to return to the tanks). I gotta think its either related to the new ULSD or somehow there was some bad fuel shipped to that area.
