It shifts like a NV4500. It has an Aluminum case. It should be as durable as the NV5600. The dual mass flywheel fixes the driveline resonance at throttle tip in (but I kinda like that noise). GM and Ford both use DMF.

"GM and Ford both use DMF"

No Crap man, i was just sayin the company Ford and Chevy use is called ZF. I know that the G56 is the replacement for the NV unit. I dont know the full company name for ZF, but thats whats branded to the trannys info plate! lol

Dont worry bud, im not that dumb

LUK makes the DMF, seperate from the G56 tranny made by POS.

GEAR RATIO’s

1st= 48x46 / 27x13 = 6.291

2nd= 48x43/ 27x22 = 3.475

3rd= 48x33 / 27x28= 2.095

4th= 48x28 / 27x36 = 1.383

5th= = 1.000

6th= 48x23 / 27x36 = .786

R= 48x20x42/27x13x20= 5.744

Oil Capacity = 5.4 L = 1.426 US Gal = 91.3 US Ounces

Oil Type = MS9602-ATX Oil

Trans Weight = 95 kg or 209.439 US lbs
