New Oil Pan Drain Valve Leaks!

I just changed my oil, installed the oil pan valve from Genos, and it leaks!!!!
Is it common for these to leak from the valve handle like this?

You sure that it's not leaking around the washer and dripping down? I noticed that the washer is pretty black also?

I can't believe that the thing is leaking.....there are thousands of people in the diesel forums and on Bob is the Oil Guy that own Fumoto's and I've never heard of anyone having problems with their Fumoto.

Check to make sure that the Fumoto isn't loose and that the oil is leaking down from the gasket. Hope you get it figured out.

I installed a Fumoto valve on the Magnum with some teflon paste on the threads. No leaks in almost two years.

The Oil Drain Plug I Use Is A Femco. No Leaks. It Also Uses A Copper Seal Washer. Our Fleet Has Been Useing Them For Years With No Problems.
