Took my 07 5.9 in for the death wobble repair TSB. Found the info and they decided I qualified for the repair. Went to write it up and found out it is now a Recall. Was unable to get the numbers but while looking at the parts it seemed to consist of a steering stabilizer, brackets and bolt kit. Nothing about the Pitman arm and/or other draglink etc parts. They are doing the TSB, pitman arm and draglink as well as the recall for me at no charge,
(29,500 miles) and they just called to inform me that I need both sides upper and lower ball joints. So guess I will have a whole new front end for my trip tomorrow.

Thought that I'd at least mention that the DW issue has become a recall for some trucks. Seems to cover 2003-2009 and may only apply if you have upgraded the steering package prior. But what I was stressing is that it is now a recall, not a TSB.

Think that this is mporant. If you have had a recent repair for same there may be a problem so be sure and check your status. Go tot he Dodge web site, put in the last 8 of your vin and check.

ive had it after i put a leveling kit in.. what an experience! had to change out ball joints and a front diff u-joint all is fine after 100,000km

 

I think there was a thread about this on here in the last month? i didnt need the recall
