New Dually Tires-Toyo 265/70-17 (w/pics)

Hey guys,

I finally got my new tires for the dually. They are Toyo Open Country AT's 265/70-17 E rated. No spacers needed and I have lots of space. They do really well on the ice and 2 feet of snow we just had!!!!Check them out and tell me what you think.

Later!
Shayne

Wow! I just posted a thread in the other forum about replacement tires for my 06 dually...

I'm amazed that those fit so well.. and no spacers you say? Awsome.

How much did they skew your speedo?

They set me back $285 CDN per tire installed and balanced...That is $248 US. Not a bad deal. But I like the way they fit and they are awesome on snow and ice!! Plus, they look pretty sweet! The speedo isn't off by much, the tires are pretty much the exact same height as the stockers!

They are actually a little shorter than stock 235's and 3\4 of inch wider than stock tires.

The tires are very close in size. When the speedo says 60mph, you will accually be at 59.6mph.

What is that wire hanging off the front bumper? Is it some kinda anti-theft device? Is a dog chained up to the other end of it? Great looking tires!

Yes it is a special cold weather anti-theft device we use here in Canada. If you don't plug that in the truck won't start and therefore can't be stolen.

They look great. I think I'm going to need new tires next month, as these Americtracs probably are not going to pass PA inspection.

These look like a pretty good choice, and would suit my needs.

I thought the 265 tire was taller then a 235 or have I been misled?

235 is an 80 265 is a 70 series.

80s are taller
