New bushings or new track bar?
I've gone through just about everything on the front end of my truck and it drives just fine but I'm looking to replace the track bar bushings for completeness. Also, I know they are old and worn just based on mileage and... well it's a 4x4 dodge. My question is this: Should I put new bushings in the stock bar for $20, or are the aftermarket bars really that much better to justify the cost?

The stock track bar pulls your front end offset towards the left/drivers side when leveling kits are added. This contributes to binding issues and more wear on steering joints.
I went back and forth with the same question recently and decided that a new track bar was best for my setup. A new Carli adjustable track bar centered the axle side to side but also provided me with a tighter more planted feel to the front end as rubber bushings are not used on these upgraded bars. Carli and Thuren market quality products that you may want to look into. I Hope you find this helpful in making a decision.
