Need shocks BAD!
My crappy Dodge shocks are already shot with just 13k miles on the clock. I live off of ~3 miles of gravel roads that take a mean toll on the tires and shocks. Anyhow, I need some part numbers for various brands of shocks that will fit my 2003 3500 4x4. I've called just about everyone and they say there is no application for the 2003's yet....***! Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket HD shock out there that will fit this rig? TIA

It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!
Re:Need shocks BAD!
Sounds like you have been given some bad info. Do a search under 'shocks' and you will find a few threads on this subject for the '03's. I changed my shocks after about 3000 miles and converted to Rancho 9000's. Nice difference. Want my old, still new shocks? My truck is driven on bad roads a lot and even more on cobblestone roads which are hard on shocks. Have about 7000 miles on the Rancho's so far with no problems. Part numbers are 99197 and 99269.

Re:Need shocks BAD!
Mexstan,
Thanks for the info. I called Eldelbrok (sp), Rancho, and Trailmaster direct, they all told me they didn't have any applications for the 2003's in the 2500 or 3500 series. I also called Jegs, Summit, JC Whitney, Reliable, and a few other connections with no luck at all!
Which one of the part numbers are the front/rear? How much did you pay for your 9000's? What do you want for the stockers you have?

Re:Need shocks BAD!
Mexstan,
Thanks for the part numbers but I'm not really interested in the adjustability of the 9000 series, too many other things to play with and/or worry about. Anyhow, just wondering if anyone else might have the part numbers for some aftermarket shocks for the 2003 HD's??? I may end up having to find out the exact specs for the part numbers he gave me and crossing them over to another brand or series....
