Need New ball joints - which to buy?
I know our trucks are going through ball joints and many posts about them have appeared. Now i need them and anyone have any idea which ones are the heavy duty or last the longest. Spicer claims "Professional Grade" ball joints adjustable at least 1 degree. Moog has similar but is much more expensive. I dont believe "pro grade" means anything till tested by our trucks. Any experience on these products on what to buy would be appreciated.

I had mine dealer replaced under warranty at 40,000. They even asked if I towed a lot. Do people buy a 3/4 ton for the ride? Anyway,
I talked to a former Dodge mechanic and his advice?
Dodge balljoints are a weakpoint in the frontend. They know it and will replace them without much trouble. Of course with the same weak Dodge parts. If the warranty won't cover them, go to a tire shop and have them put Moogs in. They will last 100,000 plus. He said to have it professionally done because most of the front end needs to be disassembled to get to em. Plus you'll need an alignment anyway. It's close to eight hours in the book.
Good luck.
