i need to know wat is the part numbers for the GM upgrade to dodges gov. pressure sensor and solinoid. my friend at dodge no longer works there and i work 4 GM so i can get it for cheap. can some1 please help me out. 2003 dodge 3500 4x4 auto

 

There is no upgrade for the sensor, its still the same BW one that fits the OE application.

You cannot just swap in the solenoid used in the GM units, it won't fit. You have to buy the kit that has the custom governor plate that allows the GM solenoid to fit.

FYI, the solenoid used in the GM units is a BW, just like the OE piece, only a lot beefier.

Yep, Borg Warner 50185 is the OE type upgrade. It fits the same place as the OE one and is about 30% larger and stronger with some other changes to extend its life.

Just my $.02 but the borg warner would not work in my 06. It fits, looks way better than OEM but it wouldn`t shift into third. I`m going back with an OEM. Do a search, some have had good luck with it & some have not.
