need help on clutch
i called southbend and they said i could get by with a 475 hp clutch single disk i just have the edge juice with attitude and am getting ready to send off to get the hot box unlocked if that helps out the performance any and i pull about 10,000 pounds not everyday but about once or twice weekly anyone got any ideas if i should get alittle heavier one or stick with there ideas. thanks any advice will be appreciated thanks chance

With my mods the OFE lasted about 50k without slipping, it holds strong about 90% of the time, but if I jam it in gear just right it will slip 5th and 6th. I* pull the same amount of weight as you, and pull loads usually all week long. Other than that its a great clutch.
IMO if you want it to last longer and have a knack to add more mods I would go for the 3250 DD street clutch. It is my next mod as well.

i run this clutch both times i had to do a clutch job and i get almost 200k out of it easly.. when i took it out it had plenty of clutch left in it just it was little rough sounding in the throwout bearings so figured why not just replace it all back to fresh...

that phoenix clutch is it good to just drive around town and stuff like that i thank you guys for all the help. That phoenix clutch sounds like it would be good for what i do.
